IEEE-PESCE Student Branch at P E S College Of Engineering, Mandya, Karnataka, empowered to grow technically, professionally and academically to grid oneself to be technically proficient with the ebullient attitude that engenders to build a wonderful career ahead. We consider ourselves to be lucky enough to be a part of this growing family and find overwhelmed to welcome everybody to this home of people striving to be savant.

Our Branch is affiliated to IEEE, Asia Pacific, Region 10, Bangalore section. We are a blooming group of more than 110 active members involved in participating and organizing a range of activities aimed at enhancing our academic, professional and career lives, with the thoughtful support and guidance of our mentors.

This Student Branch of IEEE, budding since2007 to create an ambiance where each can flourish by displaying their skills and be abreast with the latest developments in cutting edge technology through team meets and various other events like seminars, workshops held regularly.The most unique Social Activity wing works for something more than just an act of favor charity directed towards doing something for the society.

CRESCO is our Annual Technical Symposium.The Tech Fest is one of the rarest in it's type.Many elite companies such as Cognizant,TCS,Mindtree sponsors our Fest.

Achievements
Since it's inception in the year 2007,IEEE PESCE is determined to achieve greater heights.It never went down in it's quest for glory.The Student members have tried their best to realise the dream of the chapter.
  • Two of our Student members attended. All India Student Congress held at Mumbai
  • Ten of our Student members were a part of Student Leadership Congress held at NITK, Surathkal
  • Supreeth K S,Our Student Member is the current Hub leader of Mysore[GINI]
  • HACKERON was a Ethical Hacking Workshop conducted in association with KYRION TECHNOLOGIES, Delhi.More than 125 Students from various parts of Karnataka found themselves as a part of this exhilarating Workshop
  • We are the most active Student GINI Co-Ordinating Branch under Bangalore Section
  • Helped the victims of Floods that happened in North Karnataka during the year 2009
  • Helped an NGO called Preethi Nilaya which helps in moulding the Physically challenged Children to compete in the present World
  • Supported VVIET in establishing an IEEE Student Chapter in their College
  • GNAAN is the brainchild of IEEE PESCE.The Student members provide Computer Education to Rural Students

  • A Weekly meet which strives hard in improving the technical and inter personnel skills of the members.
  • Various workshops on the present day technologies.
  • Conducts Webinars in association with IEEE-GINI and companies such as MICROSOFT,IBM etc.
  • Team building activities.
  • State\National level event in each semester.
  • Awareness and Orientation program for the freshers twice in a year.
  • Seminars on various technologies by Senior professionals of some Elite companies as well as from the senior professors of IISc, Bengaluru.
  • In touch with various NGOs and help them in achieving their goals.
